A new street food venue is set to open in Retford later this year, bringing a ‘lovely, family-friendly vibe’ to the town centre.
Street Eats at the Vaults is the brainchild of Kara Wilkinson, who earlier this year was shortlisted for an award at the British Street Food Awards.
She said: “I have been doing, throughout the pandemic, street food from my home on a Friday or Saturday and it has been back-to-back for three hours. For instance, I did a Jerk Chicken Night which was so successful we had to run it for a further week so that we could cater for all those who we weren’t able to serve on the first week.
“There has been such a call for street food during the Coronavirus pandemic.
