One of Penarth’s most popular summer events is back – bigger than ever.
Penarth Lawn Tennis Club is expecting capacity crowds to its Music and Street Food Festival on Saturday, 27 May – and tickets are on general sale from today (Thursday May 11).
The Rectory Road club says this year’s festival will have more food vendors and more bars and is expecting a sell-out 1,300 strong crowd.
Club chairman Martin Radford said: “Last year’s event was a real community celebration. We have a sell-out crowd picnicking on the grass and dancing to the bands.”
The event – which is organized by volunteers at the club – will feature five bands playing a variety of music throughout the day.
