This vegan food truck has won the Scottish Street Food Awards – beating meat and dairy vendors
Truffle gnocchi, haggis burgers and savoury pancakes are among the menu items that saw vegan food truck Planet G become joint overall winners of the Scottish Street Food Awards. It was also awarded the coveted People’s Choice award.
When vegan companies go up against mainstream meat and dairy businesses, it’s all the more exciting when they win.
The Scottish Street Food Awards take place every year at the Edinburgh Food Festival and feature the best businesses from around the country. The winners are then entered into the British Street Food Awards, which take place in London from 13th-15th September 2024.
