You don’t need to be exploring the streets of Stockholm or wandering around Copenhagen’s waterfront to enjoy truly authentic Scandinavian dishes. Scandilicious are London’s First Scandinavian Food truck, bringing a uniquely nordic food experience to events across the South East!
Inspired by childhood experiences of foraging for ingredients along the shores of the Stockholm archipelago and the fertile fields of Denmark, the team create a menu that is natural and honest, strictly made with the produce that is native to the region. While their options are a modern take on traditional dishes like Smörgåsbord, at the heart of their cooking is the romantic and age-old concept behind all nordic cooking called Husmanskost, which simply translates as “farmers fare”.
Using the best savoury brioche baguette rolls and bagels to create their modern farmers fare, fillings for their trademark subs include the classic meatball with home-made Lingonberry Jam, Skagen Rye with the dill and the freshest North Sea prawns, followed by a deliciously baked Danish cinnamon roll and a warming freshly ground coffee.
The team have 30 years experience learning under some of the top new Nordic restaurants in Europe and the UK, and after seeking a new adventure now have oodles of experience providing their brilliant food at weddings, corporate events and festivals all across the South East and London.
