Panzo Mio
At Panzo Mio we specialise in Panzerotti, the little cousin of the Calzone. Panzerotti are deliciously indulgent crispy fried turnovers filled with traditional Italian ingredients and oozing with melty mozzarella. All of our Panzerotti are freshly handmade to order and we use authentic Italian and/or locally sourced seasonal produce where possible. We also offer a range of handmade sides, salads and desserts with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. We are constantly experimenting in the kitchen and creating new flavours, dishes and Panzerotto fillings, especially for holidays and special occasions.
Kory and Melanie (founders) conjured up the idea of Panzo Mio in early 2020 from our love for Italian food (in particular Panzerotti!!). We go on holiday to Italy often; mostly for it’s amazing food! In 2019, whilst in a wonderful little town called Alberobello in the southern region of Puglia, we stumbled across a small shop called Principotto and we had our first Panzerotti. We had never even heard of them before but it was love at first bite! When we returned home, we scoured London in search of Panzerotti but didn’t have much luck. After some research, we realised that not many people in London had heard of them either. We started to make Panzerotti at home experimented with different flour, fillings, methods, etc. I (Kory) was working as a chef in an Italian restaurant that had weekly menu changes and I used that to my advantage for inspiration and ideas of different ingredients. We created some amazing flavours which we shared with friends and family, the feedback was amazing and everyone was advising us to start selling them! This is where Panzo Mio comes in, bringing the Panzerotto to the London street food scene! As there are very few other food trucks/stalls in London that are dedicated to Panzerotti, we saw a gap in the market. Panzerotti are the perfect street food! Filled and fried pockets of goodness!
Our Panzerotti can be enjoyed by the whole family and easy to eat on the go, and not to mention very moreish! Luckily, we offer Panzerotti bundle boxes which save you money too! With our dough made fresh daily and using great quality ingredients, you’re in for a treat. Customers can expect a variety of different flavour Panzerotti made fresh to order. We also have a range of homemade sauces to pair with your Panzerotti and sides.
Panzo Mio has traded at events, markets, pubs and have also recently finished a pop-up tenancy at a bar in Shoreditch, all of which were a great success. We have been delighted to have such amazing feedback on our food and service to our lovely customers, with many coming back for seconds and takeaways!
We love giving back to our customers and the community. We are currently offering free school meals to children, student and seniors discounts, loyalty cards and much more. We work with companies that reduce food waste by giving our fresh stock, that cannot be used the next day, to food banks that and homeless shelters. We also love to support other local and small businesses by using local suppliers and farmers.
We have a fun, vibrant atmosphere and team, we love what we do and we cannot wait to share this with our customers, and the community!
