Swords and Sandals Outdoor Cinema 7-15 August, Guildhall Yard

Watch an epic season of Roman-inspired
films on the site of London’s Roman Amphitheatre. Whether you’re into
classic or cult, we’ve got some all-time favourites including the
hilarious
Monty Python’s Life of
Brian
, Russell Crowe in Ridley Scott’s blockbuster, Gladiator, and
Kit Harington flexing his muscles in Pompeii.

Bring a cushion to sit on and either enjoy your
own picnic or treat yourself to the Italian street food, beer and
cocktails on sale in Guildhall Yard. Then settle down to enjoy swords,
sandals, superstars, silliness, songs and sheer sauce.

‘always look on the bright side of life’. If you’re new to Monty Python,
